REGENERATION IN THE THERMAL POOL
The thermal pool of the Wellness Center is the place where you will find full energy and vigor.
The amplitude allows you to enjoy the benefits of salsobromoiodic water combined with those of the swimming movement and the increasing depth allows you to enjoy it in total safety. The water temperature, of 32 ° in the warm months and 34 ° in the coldest ones, wants you to reach a deep state of relaxation, avoiding to strain the cardiovascular system. This is because it lasts a long time in water at high temperatures, even if apparently pleasant, it is contraindicated in the presence of cardiovascular disorders.
The structure has over 40 hydro-jets with differentiated horizontal, vertical and tangential flow for the massage of the lower limbs and the body, and laminar jets for the effective treatment of the cervical and dorsal areas. To tone and facilitate psychophysical recovery, diving fitness equipment and daily water aerobics courses, included in the admission price, are available to you.
The vascular path with salsobromoiodic water at 25 ° and 34 ° temperatures is equipped with horizontal and plantar hydromassage jets able to stimulate circulation and tone tissues.
From 1 JUNE the thermal pool at the Terme di Riolo reopens where you can finally enjoy a pleasant bath in the salso-bromoiodic thermal water with my-relaxing, anti-inflammatory and revitalizing properties.
It will be possible to access the thermal pool starting from € 12.
Also in the swimming pool area all the preventive measures prescribed by DPCM will be adopted and already tested in these first days of opening in the already operational care pavilions.
Social distancing rules will also be applied in the swimming pool, where the maximum number of bathers has been calculated based on the surface of the body of water.
The poolside relaxation beds will be available with the right spacing and will be sanitized with each use.

THE PRECIOUS MUD SOURCE OF THE TERME OF RIOLO
Terme di Riolo’s is the only spring mud in Emilia Romagna. Unlike prepared or artificial mud, it originates in the bowels of the earth, already naturally mixed with salsobromoiodic water, driven by methane gas and carbon dioxide, through small natural cones, located in the Bergullo area, not far from the town of Riolo Terme .
The particular chalky-sulphurous conformation of the subsoil, characteristic of the Vena del Gesso, contributes to its strong mineralization. The mud is collected in a protected tank and from there taken from time to time, respecting the natural balance.
Although it is a mud that is already mature in itself, that is rich in substratum of argilloid mineral substances, organic humus processed by microorganisms and precious trace minerals thanks to the very long time spent in contact with the thermal water, it rests further in special tanks in contact with solsobromoiodic flowing water.
This second maturation allows the continuation of chemical, physical and biological phenomena that increase its therapeutic properties.
